Short biography

Paulina earned her Bachelor's degree in Quantum Engineering from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in 2023, completing her thesis eith topic: Band structure engineering of selected cesium-based perovskites. She then pursued a Master's degree in Physics with a specialization in Theoretical Physics at TU Dresden. For her Master's thesis, she worked in the group of Dr. Denys Makarov, focusing on the theoretical description of non-collinear magnetic textures in chromium oxide. She completed her studies in 2025 with the thesis: Properties of noncollinear magnetic textures in Cr2O3. In the same year, she joined the department of Intelligent Materials and Systems at HZDR, led by Dr. Makarov, as a PhD student.
