Short biography

Born and raised in Russia, Daniil Karnaushenko obtained his Master of Science in Physics, Electronic Engineering and Microelectronics at the Department of Semiconductor Devices and Microelectronics at the Novosibirsk State Technical University in Russia in 2009.

Daniil Karnaushenko started his Ph.D. research on photoelectron spectroscopy of metal-organic semiconductor interfaces at the Chemnitz University of Technology, Germany, Institute of Physics (Semiconductor Physics).

From 2011 on he continued his Ph.D. research on magnetic sensors at the Institute for Integrative Nanosciences, Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research Dresden (IFW Dresden), Germany. In 2013 he joined the ERC group of Denys Makarov who was awarded an ERC Starting Grant.

Daniil Karnaushenko is a member of the German Physical Society e.V. (DPG).
